If you are new to outdoor fitness or unsure on a few things our FAQs might be able to answer your queries. Equally, do not hesitate to get in touch via email or WhatsApp for more information!
What is your class cancellation policy?
If you wish to cancel and you are a single booking and block bookings customer, you have until 2 hours before to cancel. Cancellations made within two hours before class will lose the class from their package.
Cancellations before this time will be able to reuse their class pass on another day.
I no longer want a membership, how do I cancel?
We are sad to see you go! We require 4 weeks notice for memberships cancellations. We understand some circumstances cannot be helped, in these situations we ask you let evolve know as soon as possible.
What does outdoor fitness involve?
Our outdoor fitness classes involve a huge variety of movement including bodyweight, resistance training and cardiovascular exercises.
We have a wide variety of equipment available to spice up the session including dumbbells, kettlebells, slamballs, skipping & battle ropes.
We are currently expanding our equipment range to include power bags, barbells and weighted plates!
We want all of our members to feel comfortable and confident in what they are doing so their is always alternatives and progressions in place no matter your fitness level!
What do I bring to classes?

Where do we meet?
We always try to meet 10 minutes before class as the location noted in the class timetable. This gives us time to get set up.
We never want our members to have to carry any valuables on their during class. Before class you can leave anything you need locked away in the instructors car.
The weather is bad, will my class still be on?
We don’t like the weather to damping our spirits at Evolve fitness classes – We keep our classes running through all seasons!
If there is any changes to class timetables we will ensure all booked on are informed as soon as possible.
What should I wear when it’s cold or raining?
We know when it’s cold/wet we like to layer up, however please remember you will be exercising and will warm up fast. When exercising outdoors, we should always prepare as if it is 10 degrees warmer than it is
If it is raining:
– Waterproof socks and gloves are advised
– A waterproof jacket isn’t needed (you will get to hot). If it is cold, wear a long sleeved workout top underneath your t-shirt for a layer
If it is cold:
– Waterproof socks and gloves are advised
– You may wish to layer up for the journey to and from class
– Layers are advised while warming up, however be wise and ensure you can remove layer when needed.
– A long sleeved workout top underneath your existing work out T-shirt
How big are your classes?
25 people max – at Evolve fitness we want to have that big class group element to create team spirit & encouragement but equally not too many where the instructor can’t spend some time 1-1.
What time are your classes
Evening classes at 6.30-7.30 at all 4 classes offered across 2 parks.
Saturday morning NCH is 8-8.45am
Pentland View Park is 9.15-10am
